The Kath Dickson Community Toy Library has what you’re looking for, at very reasonable prices! In their large collection, you will find thousands of items suitable for a range of ages. The library also hosts activity mornings once a week. These groups are free for members or a gold coin donation per child for non-members. Keep the children busy and meet other families within the community.

The Toy Library has four fun party packs available for weekly hire which feature the latest toys, and are tailored specifically for different age groups ranging from 12 months to 5 years.
These party packs make holding a fun party affordable and they are perfect for birthdays, special occassions or play groups. There arealso have brand new tables and chairs perfect for your parties. Each package consists of 8 chairs (blue or red) and a perfect kiddie sized trestle table. Should you require more than 8 chairs, and an extra table, Hobson’s are happy to offer 16 chairs and 2 tables for $45.
Hire period is for one week and bookings are essential.

Cost
Membership fees are based on the number of children. Annual fees are shown below and are valid for 12 months from the date of membership. Membership gift vouchers are also available – a gift that keeps on giving throughout the year.

Special Offers
Babies/New Mums: The toy library has a large selection of quality toys for your little one including gyminis, rattles, cot and pram toys, musical and colourful toys. Join and receive free membership until your baby is 6 months old.
Free 1st Birthday Party Pack: Join before your child’s 1st birthday and celebrate this special milestone with free use of our popular 1st Birthday Party Pack (usually $30 to hire). Click here to see the great toys included in this fun pack.
Grandparents: Are the grandchildren coming to stay in the school holidays? This special membership is for Grandparents who only wish to borrow a few times a year when their grandchildren come to visit (such as the school holidays). Membership allows borrowing for up to 6 fortnights per year, and roster duty is not required.
Roster Duty
Each member is required to work 2 x 2 hour sessions of roster duty per membership, and this must be completed within the first 12 weeks of your membership term. Allocate your roster dates on the noticeboard in the toy library upon joining or renewing your membership.
Borrowing
You may borrow three toys per child for up to two weeks. The same toy cannot be borrowed on consecutive occasions. Speak to the Toy Library Co-ordinator for further details regarding borrowing limits and conditions.
Overdue Toys
A charge of $2.00 per week applies for late toy returns, with a maximum charge of $10.00.
