Kind auf den Schoß nehmen und im Takt auf und ab wippen

Hoppe hoppe Reiter (Kind auf dem Schoß im Takt auf und ab wippen)
wenn er fällt, dann schreit er, (Kind auf den Schoß legen)
fällt er in den Teich, (Kind wieder aufsetzen)
find’t ihn keiner gleich. (Den Kopf schütteln)
Hoppe hoppe Reiter (Kind auf dem Schoß im Takt auf und ab wippen)
wenn er fällt, dann schreit er, (Kind auf den Schoß legen)
fällt er in den Graben, (Kind wieder aufsetzen)
fressen ihn die Raben. (An den Fingern des Kindes knabbern und Essgeräusche machen)
Hoppe hoppe Reiter (Kind auf dem Schoß im Takt auf und ab wippen)
wenn er fällt, dann schreit er, (Kind auf den Schoß legen)
fällt er in den Sumpf, (Ein platschendes Geräusch machen)
dann macht der Reiter…
Plumps! (Die Hände des Kindes festhalten, dann die Beine spreizen, sodass das Kind das Gefühl hat zu fallen)

Then the rider goes…
Splash! (Hold child’s hands and split knees apart so child feels like they’re dropping)
