Our Toy Library remains a central feature of Noah’s Ark Resource Centre. We currently hold approximately 4,000 items of quality educational resources. Our toys and equipment promote the creative, imaginative, cognitive and physical development of children. The collection also includes therapy and gross motor equipment and a specialist book section providing child development and special needs information for adults and children.

Toys and games include:

  • Toys  and educational resource kits for:
    • Literacy
    • Numeracy
    • Social development
    • Fine and gross motor skills
    • Language and communication development
    • Self help skills
    • Sensory awareness
  • Books for children, parents and professionals
  • Audiovisual and electronic resources

Ages 3 months to 6 years

Cost

Rocking horseAnnual membership to the Library costs $40, or $20 if you are eligible for a concession. Each toy carries a small hiring fee and may be borrowed for up to two weeks. If you are borrowing resources to aid your child’s therapy, the borrowing period is extended to four weeks at no additional charge.

Opening hours

Monday – Friday: 9.30 am to 2.30pm during ACT school terms.
10.00 am to 3.00pm on Wednesdays only in the school holidays.
