My Daddy
by Ranja Kujala

I sit and look back to how far I can remember,
And you are always there next to me.
Each and everyday you were helping me grow up,
And making me be the best that I can be.

Your love was forever strong,
Your cuddles forever tight.
Everyday since I was born,
Your love was always in sight.

I will always be your Baby Girl,
And you will always be my Dad.
I know I will always be the luckiest,
To have the best Dad any girl could have had.

My Daddy I love you with all my heart,
Much more than I ever say.
You are my world, my everything,
Each and Every day.

Special Hero
by Christina M. Kerschen

When I was a baby,
you would hold me in your arms.
I felt the love and tenderness,
keeping me safe from harm.
I would look up into your eyes,
and all the love I would see.
How did I get so lucky,
you were the dad chosen for me.
There is something special
about a father’s love.
Seems it was sent to me
from someplace up above.
Our love is everlasting,
I just wanted you to know.
That you’re my special hero
and I wanted to tell you so.

Daddy
by Shayna Montgomery

Daddy, Daddy sit me on your knee.
Together we will always be,
Closest of friends,
From beginning to end.
You always knew what was best,
While you guided me through trials and tests.
You were always there
Never ashamed to be my teddy bear.
Looking up at the stars,
You’re holding me in your arms.
I’m wrapped up so tight,
I could not escape with all my might.
You’re my protector; you’re my shield,
From life’s playing field.
I want to thank you from my heart,
I believe that nothing could ever tear us apart.

Dad
by Karen K. Boyer

He never looks for praises
He’s never one to boast
He just goes on quietly working
For those he loves the most
His dreams are seldom spoken
His wants are very few
And most of the time his worries
Will go unspoken too
He’s there…. A firm foundation
Through all our storms of life
A sturdy hand to hold to
In times of stress and strife
A true friend we can turn to
When times are good or bad
One of our greatest blessings,
The man that we call Dad.

Daddy, I Love You
Author UnknownDad and son playing

Daddy, I love you
For all that you do.
I’ll kiss you and hug you
‘Cause you love me, too.

You feed me and need me
To teach you to play,
So smile ’cause I love you
On this Father’s Day.

A Father Is:
by Sue Skeen

There in every memory
See his love and care
Strength and hands to count on
Freely he does share
Provider, toil so faithfully
To make our dreams come true
Give strong and tender discipline
Though it is hard to do
A Father is God’s chosen one
To lead the family
And point it to His will for life
Of love and harmony…

My Daddy
by Charleigh Graham

My Daddy is a mountain
My Daddy is a sea
My Daddy smiles again and again
I love my Daddy
And I know he loves me
’cause my Daddy is a ray of lite
that warms a winters’ eve
My daddy is very special to me
I could not live without my daddy
as he could not live without me.

What Makes a Dad
Author UnknownFather cradling baby

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it … Dad

Dad
by Susan Smith

To me dad, you’re everything
I can not begin to say,
You’ve loved, cared and looked out for me
You’ve made me who I am today.
Dad, you’ve always been understanding
and showered me with concern,
You’re my knight in shining armour
You’re my dad and best friend.

Something special – Dad
by Judith Flavel

Any man can be a father
but it takes something very special
to be a Dad!
