The Wheel of Brisbane is one of the most iconic inner city attractions Brisbane has to offer. Situated in Southbank (near QPAC), the wheel offers visitors a 360° view of the Brisbane River and city skyline. It’s a must see attraction for both tourists and locals and caters for all ages. Each gondola is fully enclosed and air conditioned providing the perfect platform for spectacular views.

Activities include:

  • On-board dining experience (additional cost involved)

Age suitability

The Wheel of Brisbane is suitable for all ages, however children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Duration

The Wheel of Brisbane operates all year round. The ride runs for approximately 12 minutes with an audio commentary.

Accessibility

The Wheel of Brisbane has 2 wheelchair accessible gondolas, with a door opening width of 80cm. Prams and large bags are not allowed within the Wheel of Brisbane gondolas. Please visit their website to view a full list of restrictions.

Facilities

  • All gondolas are fully enclosed and air-conditioned
  • Each gondola seats up to 6 adults and 2 childre
  • VIP gondolas seat up to 4 adults only

Cost

Tickets can be purchased for the Wheel of Brisbane for $17.50 for, $15 for students, $14 for concessions, and $12 for children. Kids aged under 3 years ride free. There are also family passes available for $50 (2 adults + 2 children). Photo books are available to purchase after the ride.

To save an additional 10% on ticket prices, purchase tickets online via their website. To reserve the VIP gondola or an on-board dining experience bookings are essential via the Wheel of Brisbane website.

Monday – Thursday: 11am – 9:30pm

Friday & Saturday: 10am – 11pm

Sunday: 10am – 10pm

Opening times are subject to change due to weather conditions and maintenance.

On-board dining experiences are only available Friday & Saturday nights
