Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream (Lean child upside down)
Row, row, row your boat (Sit baby or child on lap and row back and forth)
Gently down the stream
If you see a crocodile
Don’t forget to scream (For the last line, lean child upside down and make a pretend screaming sound)
Row, row, row your boat (Sit baby or child on lap and row back and forth)
Gently to the shore
If you see a lion
Don’t forget to roar (Lean child upside down and make a roaring sound)

All across the puddle
If you see your mummy there
Give her a big cuddle (Lean child upside down and then cuddle them)

Don’t forget to screech (For the last line, lean child upside down and make a screeching noise)

Gently up the brook
If you catch a little fish (Pretend to catch a fish)
Let it off the hook (Throw pretend fish back in water and make a splashing sound)
